2008 MSERA Call for Papers:
Directions for Submitting the Proposal

Note: All abstract submissions for the 2008 Annual Meeting must be completed online at the MSERA web site.

Subsequent communication between the Program Chair and the primary author will be conducted by e-mail.  It is important that primary authors are able to access e-mail during the period June 30 through September 15.

Submit one completed Proposal Information web page form for each paper.  Authors must click on the Send Proposals... link from the Call for Papers web page.  The web page form requires authors to submit cover sheet information and the abstract.  Authors submitting a training proposal must send an abbreviated vita for each trainer to the program chair as an e-mail attachment.

The deadline for submission is June 27, 2008.  The primary author will be notified by e-mail of receipt of the proposal.  Each proposal will undergo a blind review process.  Only the title and the abstract, along with the proposal ID, will be provided to reviewers.  

Final notification of the disposition of each proposal will be e-mailed to the primary author by September 15,  2008.

How to Prepare the Abstract:

• Use a 12 point font (e.g., Courier, Times, Helvetica).
• Single space within paragraphs
• Indent all paragraphs five spaces
• Double space between paragraphs
• The title should be in upper and lower case characters
• Use past tense to describe the research
• Use APA style.
• Abstracts for discussion, display, and training sessions may not exceed 300 words; abstracts for symposia may not exceed 500 words.
• Abstracts should not include references, tables, or lists.
