Budget Advisory Committee

Purpose

     The Budget Advisory Committee has the responsibility to track the expenditures and receipts of the organizations over a period of time. Thorough its analysis, the committee recommends budget categories and expenditures to the President for the establishment of the annual budget.

Membership

     The President of the Association shall appoint the chair and members of this committee annually.

Responsibilities

  1. Obtain from the Secretary-Treasurer a report showing income and expenditures for the current fiscal year (January 1 to December 31).
  2. Put income and expenses in established categories for the fiscal year. In the case of expenditures obligated for that fiscal year but paid in the next fiscal year, the expenditure will be placed in the fiscal year the obligation was occurred.
  3. Submit the report of the analysis in late January to the President and Secretary-Treasurer to aid in the construction of the current budget.
  4. Report the results of the analysis at the spring and fall Board meetings.
