Publications and Communications Committee

Purpose

The Publications and Communications Committee shall prepare and recommend to the Board overall publication policies as well as policies for each of the MSERA publications.

Responsibilities

  1. The committee shall coordinate MSERA publications, including the MSERA Researcher, the Proceedings, Research in the Schools, and the MSERA Web Page.
  2. The committee shall prepare and submit to the Board any recommendations for changes in existing publications policies or procedures and coordinate the development of any proposals to the Board for any new publication.
  3. The committee will submit a formal report to the Board at its meetings.
  4. The committee will advise and assist the editors of the MSERA publications upon request.

Membership

     The President shall appoint a Publications and Communications Committee of seven members that includes a chair and a member of each of MSERA's constituent states. The editors of official MSERA publications, the President and Secretary-Treasurer will be ex-officio, voting members not included in the seven. Members will hold office for two years, with four appointed on even years and three appointed on odd years. Members may be reappointed.
