MSERA OPERATIONS MANUAL: Editors
Editor of the Proceedings
Purpose
The task of the editor is to produce the Proceedings
of the Annual Meeting, which will include abstracts of paper presentations,
symposia, displays, and training sessions, an Index of Participants.
Selection
The editor of the Proceedings is appointed each
year by the President.
Responsibilities

The editor will arrange for the production of the Proceedings and
submit the materials to the editor of the MSERA Web Page for inclusion on
the web site.

Before the end of the fiscal year, the editor shall submit invoices to the
Secretary-Treasurer, who will reimburse any institution, person, or firm
incurring expenses for the production and editing of the Proceedings.

The editor shall serve as a member of the Publications and Communications
Committee and as a member of the Program Committee.

The editor will report to the Board at its meetings.

The editor receives copies of the abstracts from the Program Committee chair.
The editor also receives from the Program Committee chair the Annual Meeting
program that shows the scheduling of all presentations and other events that
occur at the Annual Meeting.
