2008 MSERA Annual Meeting Information

2008 Annual meeting will be held November 5-7, 2008
at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Knoxville, TN.

  • Reservations (877) 227-6963 (national #; mention the organization and the three letter code, ERA, for conference rates).   
  • You may also register via the web.  Click here to register online (be sure to enter the three letter code, ERA, all caps).
  • Register by Sept. 30, 2008 in order to book rooms at the conference rate ($92 for single or double occupancy).
  • If you register after 9/30/2008, call hotel directly: (865) 522-2600, ext 366
  • When you make room reservations, be sure to mention the MSERA meeting for special room rate (rates below do not include taxes or parking.  Also, they might not recognize the abbreviation, so say "Mid-South Educational Research Association.")
• Reminder: The local time for the conference is based on Eastern Standard Time (DST ends Nov 2).

• Local transportation options:
  • There is no shuttle service from Knoxville airport (TYS: McGhee-Tyson) to hotel.  A cab will cost $25 each way.
  • There is a downtown trolley service, though it does not go far.
